STR:

  1. Go to Cookies and Site Data then click on Manage Data.
  2. Remove a storage item, save changes and confirm removal.
  3. Panel does not close itself and have to Cancel or close.
  4. Go back into Manage Data and removed items still appear.
  5. Refresh page and items are gone.

Removal appears to work but the panel no longer closes by itself and the list is not refreshed to reflect the change.

There is also a corresponding browser console error:

NS_ERROR_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIURI.host] ClearDataService.jsm:383

Does not happen with dom.storage.next_gen = false.

Regressed by Bug 1517090 and looks like a duplicate of Bug 1535298.
