153903 - Excessive Vertical Tab Height

Every bit of current tab functionality would remain if tab height was identical
to the titlabar's colored portion height, about 30% shorter. The lower portion
of the active tab spanning the full browser width could serve the same purpose
at about half its current height. Please shorten the tabs.

This bug blocks bug 135457.

UI design is no longer in use. this is primarily a theme issue, reassigning.
removing redundant [RFE] in summary. confirming as an RFE to prompt a decision
on whether tabs should be shortened...

I share the same opinion on the exceed height of the tabs in the classic theme.
I use text only toolbars to save screen space and everything is ok but tabs.
They take too much space.

This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This remains valid, but only in classic theme. Because the height in Modern, the only theme I ever use, is OK, I'll leave it up to someone else to reopen or file another.
