This bug is only for inline documents-

I see the status calls being made all the way to the webshell. But no status
calls get reflected for them in the status bars. The main page works fine.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
I don't see *any* status ('cause Gagan's fixes haven't landed yet).  I'll look
into it once those land.

Jim, this is related to bug #8705 which you already marked PDT+.

I dont think this is a problem anymore. When I had started to implement status
bar messages I had noticed this problem and pointed it out to bill thru this
bug. But this is fixed now with my last checkins to the status message work
(quite a while back) so closing it now...
