In order to better inform users of the benefits of Firefox Accounts, we would like to add a new snippet type below the search box. This is meant to be used exclusively for FxA and only until we develop new message types in message center.

Requirements

• Should work with the existing snippets system
• Should only be used for FxA
• Should not show up at the same time as the snippet at the bottom of the screen
• Should be dismissable by the user
• Should be displayed below the search box or at the top of the page if the search box is disabled
• Should have a Firefox icon to make it clear that this message is coming from Firefox
• Should have a line of text followed by a call to action link
• Should not stick to the top of the page like the search box does

While it would be great to support a few different layouts, we only need one for this first version.
