Details

I had uBlock Origin installed, but have had it disabled for a couple of months.

Today I saw the yellow warning sign over the hamburger menu, requesting new permissions; It was uBlock that wanted the new permission.

IMO, permission requests should be made pending on the user re-enabling the addon.
