Steps to reproduce:
- Focus the address bar
- Start typing
Reproducable in Nightly 68.0a1 and Firefox 66.0.2. This was not an issue in Firefox a couple versions ago, but I don't remember when it started.
Actual results:
The search suggestions flicker each time a new character is input. It seems that the search suggestions are clearing each time a character is input and only being redrawn after some network request.
Expected results:
The search suggestions should not be clearing each time the user types a character. They should be replaced once the new suggestions are found.
