Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3683.86 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
What I am reporting is not really a bug. Just some observations that break users experience.
Almost every time you start firefox, it starts installing update. The small time though that this process take is enough for one to just fire up an alternative browser and close firefox when it eventually pops up.
I and my co-workers has been doing this times without numbers and we eventually have to stick with chrome as no one is willing to wait for updates that runs every now and then.
My suggestion is to install whatever update is neccesary once downloaded instead of waiting for user to start the application before installing.

For Windows this will likely be fixed by bug 1343669.
