User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://www.softexia.com/

Notice the order of the first few programs listed

Click on the refresh icon.

Actual results:

If after the refresh you see new programs listed this implies that new content isn't being updated. If the refresh shows the same programs wait a while before trying again.

Expected results:

Page should automatically update when there is new content. I shouldn't have to click the refresh button to see it.

AFAIK the refresh icon reads from the cache so does this indicate the cache is updated but the site isn't using it? Also, the site works perfectly fine in MS Edge.

Component: Untriaged → Networking: Cache
OS: Unspecified → Windows 10
Product: Firefox → Core
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64

Which list of software are you talking about?

Could you make a screen capture in both browsers showing what isn't working?

Flags: needinfo?(garyshap)

When I clicked on the refresh icon in Fx the resulting screen had the same order of software packages as Edge.

The report is hard to understand, but IIUC the problem is that when you visit https://www.softexia.com/ again after some time, the content is old and after using reload button the content is fresh. The expiration time of the top level document is 2 days, so firefox behaves correctly when it uses the cached content.
