We noticed a thing while testing pairing during SyncFest, everybody is getting Mountain View, California, United States (estimated) IP address: 35.244.152.244, when they try to pair.

not sure what’s going on yet

it’s the https://channelserver.services.mozilla.com/

I think the dev server had this working properly.

Any ideas?

Hm, I must have improperly configured something here:

$ dig +short channelserver.services.mozilla.com
prod.channelserver.prod.cloudops.mozgcp.net.
35.244.152.244

I'll investigate

Indeed, it was a misconfiguration bug fixed by https://github.com/mozilla-services/cloudops-infra/pull/804/commits/4db5b4df3d6729449dd6ced459b6f7fbd11ce1c2
