STR:
- In Nightly68, go to "about:config"
- Click on "Show all"
- Click on "edit" button next to an editable pref
AR: Pref value becomes editable with a "save" button next to it.
ER: Pref value becomes editable with a "save" and "cancel" button next to it.
As an end-user, I need to be able to cancel editing a pref value.

This was already mentioned in bug 1523060 and opted against. This was both to reduce the scope of work and number of tests to write, and because it is a situation that would normally occur rarely, with easy workarounds, as noted in bug 1522659 comment 3. Of course, it's more noticeable during exploratory testing.
This bug can still be re-triaged if the position of the user experience or engineering team has changed and we want to spend more resources on this page, but it would be better to ask Markus and Mike first, here or in bug 1533856.
