Emperically, it appears that currently Mozilla looks in the registry to find
where Netscape 4.x profiles may reside. It would be useful to have a manual
import function, where a profile directory could be specified.

This is useful in the case where the profile directory is copied from another
computer, and thus does not carry the registry baggage with it.
See also bug 87145.
