Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_4) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/12.1 Safari/605.1.15

Steps to reproduce:

  • Cut internet connection at modem (Issue with DNS resolution through ISP)

  • Open URL to local IP (modem web interface or Synology DSL)

Actual results:

  • Long waiting period
  • Page opens fast once wait is over

Expected results:

  • Page should load fast immediately

It looks like a network access timing out, possibly DNS.

Doing the in Safari opens the page immediately.

Reliably reproducible with Firefox 66.0.2 on macOS 10.14.4.

Not reproducible with Firefox 67.0b8 on macOS 10.14.4.
