Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
Steps to reproduce:
Resize the desktop by connecting an external monitor.
Actual results:
After resizing the desktop, the dropdown that appears when entering a text in the location bar doesn't appear right under the location bar as it usually does, but some other place in the desktop. It appears that the algorithm that is in charge of calculating the position of the mentioned dropdown doesn't take into account the new desktop dimensions. If I, for example, enable/disable the visibility of the menu bar it seems that the window is reset and then it works as expected. I am using Gnome 3.30.2 in Pop OS 18.10.
Expected results:
The location bar's dropdown should appear right under the location bar.

Xnaveira, could you please provide some additional details:
-- what is the resolution of the main display
-- what is the resolution of the external display
-- (I assume you move Firefox to the external display after connecting it) does restore/maximize of Fx window solve the issue?
