Do the messages in this folder have a Date: header line?
Hi Wayne,
Well, I was having a problem in that the search term in Quick Search now stays active no matter what folder I am in. Once I figure that out and cleared the search term and restarted, I can not reproduce this issue. Go figure. If it comes back and I can reproduce it, I will get back. But for now, lets chalk it up to bad luck.

I have this problem on Thunderbird 102.1.2, macOS 12.5.1 (IMAP)
Because the size of a subfolder had grown enormous, I did a Repair folder. Out of 147 emails, 48 emails changed date to time of this repair. I closed Thunderbird and deleted the .msf file of this subfolder; now the date of these 48 emails is that of when I now restarted Thunderbird and selected the subfolder.
Note that the date of the emails has not changed when using the Apple Mail app.
