Steps to reproduce:
Start Firefox
Actual results:
A window opens (blank)- no bookmarks bar or anything except address bar - waiting but no response. Mozilla Firefox (Not Responding) at top
Expected results:
Expected to Open startup pages. Cannot do anything. Have downloaded and reinstalled but still the same
Expect version is latest as I just downloaded again but still get the same result

Hi :Spyro,
I tried to reproduce the issue with latest Firefox 66.0.3 and the Firefox opens with startup pages. No blank tab is not there.
You can try with a fresh profile (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles) to exclude any influences in your current Firefox profile.
Additionally, you can try with safe mode turned on (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode) which disables the add-ons temporarily as this might be caused by an add-on.
Please let us know if these steps fix your issue.
This is on;y happening on my desktop computer (Win7 Ultimate). Laptop (Win10) is ok. I am away from my desktop computer until the weekend so will try what you suggested then.
