Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
Steps to reproduce:
I tried to install a few add-ons. (Decreased Productivity, No Transition, etc.)
Actual results:
FF froze the 1st time for each add-on when I tried to confirm installation. I had to quit Firefox, restart Firefox, and try again. FF did not freeze the 2nd time for each add-on.
Expected results:
No freeze?
P.S. With EpubPress, it's stuck with "OK(sic)!" in the corner, but the rest of the browser is working. I can't run the inspector on the broken note.

Hi Marja, I tried to reproduce this issue but without any success, I was able to install those add-ons without issues,
EpubPress (Read the press Offline)
as well as Decreased Productivity by andryou if these are the Addons youre having issues with.
Can you please try our latest Nightly build and let us know if the issue still occurs there as well? You can find the build here:
My best guess is that the Profile youre on might be damaged, you could try creating a new profile and see if the issue still occurs, you have the steps for that here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
The last time I tried "Nightly," it wiped some of my safety fixes. I tried to restore from backup. But I ended up losing all my safety fixes, and getting hurt by the default settings.
So no, I can't try Nightly.
I recently started reinstalling Firefox from scratch, and set up some of my safety fixes while getting hurt by the default settings. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1540174
So I doubt I have enough time for a corrupt profile, and I can't test a new profile if it would have the default settings without appropriate safety fixes.

Hi, I moved the component to Web Extensions, but keep in mind I was unable to reproduce this issue and since a new profile or trying a new Nightly with a fresh profile wouldn't fix the issue, i'm not sure how our developers could get to the bottom of this issue.

Please reopen if/when you get a chance to test with Nightly.
