(Build ID: 2002052918) When loading a PDF into the browser using Adobe Acrobat 4.0 for Linux, the "Save Page As" function in the "File" menu does not produce a dialog box. This error does not occur every time, I believe, but usually does. Also, the dialog box may appear when the "Save Page As" is clicked after the loaded PDF file has sat for some time (overnight). For example, click on the PDF file (41-4360.pdf) at the top of the following page http://www.featherliteladders.com/almnextn.htm In contrast, the "Save As" function in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011126 Netscape6/6.2.1 brings up the dialog box and prompts the user to save the file with the appropriate PDF file loaded.
Could you please test this in a recent build? May 2002 was a long time ago.... (and yes, I realize you filed this in June, which was much closer to May. ;) )

Works for me on Mozilla 2002102814.
Bob, can you reproduce this problem with a current version of mozilla?
I installed Mozilla 2002121607 a couple of days ago and all seems to be working well. The dialog box appears consistently and promptly when I select "Save Page As ..." from the "File" menu. I did, however, upgrade to Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 about the same time as I upgraded Mozilla so I'm not sure where the problem lay. I hope it is appropriate to resolve this issue as "FIXED" Anyway, my apologies (Kenneth, Boris, . . .) for the long delay in upgrading Mozilla. My high-speed Internet was unavailable for some months but now is working. Thanks for your comments.
