I have noticed, not only myself, that today, when mozilla.org was down for some several minutes, mozilla.org was not working properly when the mozilla.org site was down. It was having problems opening any site. Meanwhile other brosers and ping were working properly. Mozilla it even has freezed. Tested from different location with Mozilla 1.0 for Windows XP and Mozilla 0.9.9 from RedHat 7.3 distro.
It seems to work now, but you could try running the latest version
wfm with win2k build 20020626.. I blocked mozilla.org with my firewall...
