Details

Mozilla refuses to download .exe files and appends the .ev2 to the end of them.
Unable to reproduce on a current CVS build, Linux.

Please always include build ID in bug-reports.
If it refuses to download the file, how does it append the wrong suffix?
wfm with win2k build 20020626..

Maybe the broken "shift" key is your problem ?
