In Bug 1500692 the Gecko Profiler grew the ability to split profiler categories into subcategories. Currently JS has no subcategories.
It would be good to take some of our existing profiler annotations and allocate them to subcategories.
Right now, I believe there's no UI in the profiler data for this yet, but in anticipation for it,
