User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
Steps to reproduce:
Created JS-based canvas (using D3.JS)
Include Opacity style change in code to change opacity of circles (bubbles) and text upon click on check box
SEE attached Video for demo in inspector
Actual results:
BEFORE Firefox 66.0.2 Update everything worked fine. Bubbles and text changed opacity when checkbox was checked/unchecked (1/0)
AFTER update to Firefox 66.0.2, checkbox has no effect on opacity in browser anymore - even though code executes opacity change
SEE attached Video for demo in inspector
Expected results:
When check-box is checked and code executed, opacity of objects and text should be switched on / off (values of 1 / 0).
I tested it on Safari, Chrome, Edge and Explorer. Works fine.
Just not anymore on Firefox after update to 66 branch.

DMR, Can you please attach a test case or public url to reproduce the problem?
Alice, thanks for your quick response. Here the test case:
Please visit:
http://datamaps.science/bug/SIM/
using Firefox and for instance Safari or MS Edge or MS IE.
DESIRED BEHAVIOR (IE, Edge, Safari, Firefox 65): When you mouse-over a grey bubble with a number next to it, then all other bubbles and all other number fade (become opaque)
UNDESIRED BEHAVIOR (Firefox 66): When you mouse-over a grey bubble with a number next to it, then ONLY the other bubbles fade (become opaque), but not the numbers next to it.
Best regards,
Daniel

I can reproduce the issue on Firefox66.0.3 Windows10.
However, I cannot reproduce on Beta67.0b14 and Nightly68.0a1 Windows10.
Fixed by Bug 1535040
DMR,
It seems have already been fixed this issue in 67beta.
Can you please test with [1]beta67b14?
Verified as fixed on the latest Nightly and Beta builds.
Based on the above-listed bug (1535040), the fix will not make it for the Release version.
Marking this as Resolved:Fixed. If the issue resurfaces, feel free to reopen this report and provide more information.
