Currently cold page-load tests (on android, and soon to be landed for desktop in Bug 1522972) create a fresh browser profile each time.
We should create the profile just once, and then clone it for each browser cycle / iteration.

Once this patch lands and we are just creating a fresh profile once (and re-using that same fresh profile each time instead of creating another fresh one) that will lead the way to using a 'conditioned profile' instead of the fresh profile (bug 1537944).

This needs more thought and a better and cleaner approach. I think the entire creation/setup of the browser profile needs to be changed. Right now it is too scattered etc. Also it needs to be able to support 'plugging in' any profile in the future (i.e. when we add profile conditioning). Abandoned the current patch revision in order to re-think and approve the approach.

Yes that makes sense, let's close this and once Bug 1562870 - Generate Conditioned profiles is ready we can file a new bug to integrate that feature into Raptor.
