154783 - Navigation Pref pane JS new.window interception

I've make a fake (I don't know the Apple program) Navigation pref pane with some
new features I would like to see in Chimera, new.window javascript interception,
like in iCab.
I've also grouped the "Tabbed Browsing" into former "Home Page" tab, now renamed
"New Page".

1. What do you think of that suggestion/design ?
2. Can I continue to design other fake prefs Items/Panes based on Chimera goals
(no email, etc) and by inserting useful features (even if some will only be
implemented in several months) that can be found in other browsers.

FYI I'll try to attach a capture, if not I'll upload it on my site, I've still
have cookies problem with bugzilla...

Yikes, that's a busy panel. Remember that Chimera is intended to be a "basic"
browser that is super-easy to use. We need to dumb down this kind of UI a lot,
or hide it from most users.

I think that would be a mistake to decide for the users. Look at the success encountered 
by customizing tools like TinkerTool, etc.
Users want freedom to decide, if you don't want to dive in all the prefs, a good basic 
configuration is enough, but not allowing users, advanced-users, the other ones will stick 
with what is provided with their boxes, to choose what they want I think would be an 
error. Look at people requests.
Look at the success of iCab, which is full of options.
Don't decide for the users, give them a good basis, with carefully choosen defaults, but 
let them decide.
That's my humble opinion.

This appears to be a general "Chimera Prefs Window redesign" bug, so the summary
should be changed to reflect that.

Is there any benefit in keeping this bug open? It doesn't seem to refer to any
specific defect.

v...perhaps having the js controls in a separate, more advanced panel might be
indicated here. in which case, i'd prolly file a specific bug for that unless it
already exists.
