Hello, could you provide more details about which site has the problem (exact URL) and which sites are in your list to not save (a screenshot would be great)?
It's possible that the site changed from http: to https: or changed subdomains.

I have the exact same problem. Both Citibank Mastercard and PNC Bank, version 68.0b3 (64-bit) asks me to save the password even when I told it not to on a previous visit to the sites. Once you click that you DON'T want to save the password on a particular website, Firefox should not ask you a subsequent time on the next visit.

nk2u, could you provide the information requested in comment 1, otherwise this isn't actionable. There was likely a change in the website address but I can't say for sure without more info.

Thanks, that's only half of the information I requested though. We need to compare the site you visit with the list of sites set to not prompt. Please look at the list in the dialog after clicking "Exceptions…" beside "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" in about:preferences. Either provide a screenshot or ensure it's an exact match to the sites you listed in comment 4, pay special attention to http: vs. https: and the subdomains e.g. "www." or "online.".
Providing debug logs would also be very helpful.

OK, got it. So I have to put them in. I see that now. I'll try it, thanks.

No, you shouldn't need to manually add them there… when you choose "Never Save" on the prompt to save a password it should automatically add them there. If you don't see any sites there then maybe they got lost and that would be a bug.

I don't get the "never save" prompt! But I did just now add them and it works, the "save password" does not come up. Now, that might be a bug right there! Again, running 68.0b3 (64-bit) Thanks.

"Don't Save" is not the same as "Never Save". I'm guess you didn't realize that and that was the confusion?
