Steps to reproduce:

This is Windows 10, Firefox 66.03 64 bit

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Go to reuters.com (or any site).
  3. Click on any link.
  4. Click and hold the Back button.

Actual results:

Now there are two entries for reuters.com in the history. There should only be one.
Do this multiple times and the only page in the Back history is reuters.com. The list goes on forever.

Expected results:

There should only be one entry for reuters.com in the Back button history list.

I really did search to see if this was an existing bug, but did not find anything. I'm surprised no one else has reported it.
