the following extensions are still marked unverified:

  • ADB Helper
  • Enhancer For Youtube
  • https everywhere
  • tree style tab

the 66.0.4 candidate was pulled

https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/candidates/66.0.4-candidates/

why? is there a problem with it beyond what's reported here?

66.0.4-candidates/build3 does not resolve this problem

the same 4 add-ons were unverified

I forced an update check and tree style tab updated successfully (3.0.10 => 3.0.11) and is active, however I would not call that a fix, the objective here is to get all existing add-ons with old valid signatures to verify as before the expiration, and some (at least the 4 above and likely others) do not.

Also, I have to point out that I reported this for build1 13 hours ago, but you don't seem too interested in addressing it (it's unassigned, unconfirmed, uncommented), why is that?

After some time I noticed that the remaining add-ons somehow got verified and enabled in the background.

Since it wasn't normandy, it would be good to understand why they weren't verified initially and what god them verified eventuially.

hi, thank you for reporting this. it's known that the build1-candidate didn't fully rectify the problem in all cases - that's why it wasn't released to the public and there is work ongoing in building and testing a proper solution that can be released as version 66.0.4.

Since 66.0.4 is now officially released [1] and the the build1-candidate is abandoned, I'm going to close this.
There are remaining issues, but they are tracked in other bugs (see bug 1548973).
