Details

If you shut down Mozilla while you're running it in full-screen ([F11]) by pressing [Alt][F4] or by the context-menu in the start-bar (right-click, terminate), it will start with a window, sized to the full desktop. But it isn't maximized and it is not full-screen, so you will have to resize the window manually.
Confirming in WinME build 2002062808. To re-state, if operating in Full Screen mode and browser is closed using [ALT] [F4] or [X] in upper-most right corner, then when next browser session is started, screen is not fully maximized. It appears to be 98% maximized. Manual maximize solves problem. Reporter: Might description be changed to something like "Terminating browser in full-screen causes next session to be improperly maximized." Still a bit wordy, but present description suggests Mozilla re-starts itself. Marking as New.

Sure! My english is a bit lousy, so don't be afraid correcting me if I'm writing something unclear or so! After all, I will 'upgrade' my english this way ;-) Question: must I do this? If so, I don't know how to handle this, so could you help me?
Hello! Hey, Mozilla is doing much more funny things, if you have him running full screen! Just use a link and right-click it for to 'open in a new window'. This is 'semi-maximized' (as I described it before) too! And now: use F11 to make it foll screen and back. At least with the 'modern' theme it seems to eat its boarders! Franz
dup of bug 132371?
Yes - at least, it is very related. Mozilla seems to behave strange all around the full screen mode: after terminating, but also when opening a new window from a full screen window, it isn't very handy. Mozilla should not use its actual size for the next window, if it is full sized. I think, the last non-maximized extends would work better. Also the menu bar behaviour should be fixed. Franz

I just wanted to note that IE's behavior is to start in fullscreen mode if the previous session terminated in fullscreen mode. It seems to me that this is the expected behavior. Similarly, I would expect the whole browser to be fullscreen, meaning that if the browser is fullscreen, all browser windows (current and new ones) are fullscreen, and when fullscreen is switched off, all open windows exit fullscreen mode. This, however, is NOT IE's behavior.
