Crash Data

This bug is for crash report bp-0f928817-04cd-4ba8-a7cd-289c10190505.

Top 10 frames of crashing thread:

0 libc-2.24.so libc-2.24.so@0x840b1
1 libxul.so mozilla::layers::UpdateYCbCrTextureClient gfx/layers/client/TextureClient.cpp:1706
2 libxul.so mozilla::layers::SharedPlanarYCbCrImage::CopyData gfx/layers/ipc/SharedPlanarYCbCrImage.cpp:78
3 libxul.so mozilla::VideoData::CreateAndCopyData dom/media/MediaData.cpp:375
4 libxul.so mozilla::FFmpegVideoDecoder<57>::CreateImage dom/media/platforms/ffmpeg/FFmpegVideoDecoder.cpp:394
5 libxul.so mozilla::FFmpegVideoDecoder<57>::DoDecode dom/media/platforms/ffmpeg/FFmpegVideoDecoder.cpp:294
6 libxul.so mozilla::FFmpegDataDecoder<57>::DoDecode dom/media/platforms/ffmpeg/FFmpegDataDecoder.cpp:176
7 libxul.so mozilla::FFmpegDataDecoder<57>::ProcessDecode dom/media/platforms/ffmpeg/FFmpegDataDecoder.cpp:132
8 libxul.so mozilla::detail::ProxyRunnable<mozilla::MozPromise<nsTArray<RefPtr<mozilla::MediaData> >, mozilla::MediaResult, true>, RefPtr<mozilla::MozPromise<nsTArray<RefPtr<mozilla::MediaData> >, mozilla::MediaResult, true> >  xpcom/threads/MozPromise.h:1313
9 libxul.so mozilla::TaskQueue::Runner::Run xpcom/threads/TaskQueue.cpp:199

This is most likely happening within a memcpy() since the second frame on the stack calls it (through a bunch of inlined functions). All crashing addresses are to a multiple of the page size (4KiB) and since the reason for the crash is BUS_ADRERR it's possible we're accessing memory that isn't mapped or has been munmap()'d before we accessed it.

Debugging this seems like it will be hard.

Priority: -- → P3
Summary: Crash in [@ libc-2.24.so@0x840b1] → SIGBUS Crash in [@ libc-2.24.so@0x840b1]

It would be good if we can get more symbols for linux so these crashes would be grouped better and we can see how large a problem this actually is.
