RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1541927

People

(Reporter: juergen, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

** This bug report is reentered again (formerly reported as bug 1543774), since it is not resolved after update to Version 66.0.4 (64-Bit) ** Original text follows:
I had installed the full version "AVG Internet Security - Unlimited" as well as "AVG TuneUp - Unlimited" and returned back to the free version of AVG. I have therefore deinstalled AVG TuneUp first.

Actual results:

Now Firefox prompts me every time I start it to enter the master password direct after start of the program even when I start with an empty page. That is a new behavior of the program, that I do not like.

Expected results:

Firefox should just open without prompting for entering the master password.

Please don't intentionally file duplicates. Bug 1541927 is marked as Wontfix for Firefox 66 and Fixed in Firefox 67, which will be released May 14th. You can also install the beta version now.
