firefox deleted my add ons and will not reinstall them. saying "download failed check internet connection" which is fine if you are reading this

Steps to reproduce:

initial message "One or more installed add-ons could not be verified and have been disabled". Despite automatic updates being turned off.
Tried updating/reinstalling by going to Preferences -> Extensions & Themes -> Plugins
find Adblock (enter) -> select any add on -> click "Add to Firefox"

Actual results:

Message "Download failed. Please check your connection". Everything else connected works.
Alternatively "This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt" and this from your own add-ons site.

Expected results:

The add on should have downloaded and installed despite the fact that adblock plus is still in

hello, this was a known bug with a n expired certificate used in the verification chain for addons unfortunately - mozilla released an update to version 66.0.4, which should resolve this, so please update.
