User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

applied new version purportedly fixing the add-on problem

Actual results:

the issue remains unresolved, firefox not loading add-on with the same message "could not be verified and it's been disabled

Expected results:

it should have verified those addons and loaded them properly

Do you have a master password set?
If so, this is a duplicate of bug 1549249. Please see the updated support article for a workaround:

If not, could you please provide more information as requested in bug 1549249 comment 5?

What OS are you on?

Do you have antivirus software installed? If so, which one?

Do you have a Master Password? If so, could you check if the workaround in Comment 11 fixes the problem for you?

Could you check with a brand new profile on 66.0.4 and see if you can install addons from there?

At startup, if you open the browser console (Ctrl+Shift+J or Cmd+Shift+J on OSX), do you see the error "failed to add new intermediate certificate"? If so, do you see the code 0x805a1f65 next to it, or something else?
