Details

STR:

  1. Open RDM
  2. Select a device from the device dropdown menu.
  3. Resize the viewport using the drag button located at the bottom right corner of the RDM browser. Resize it so that the new orientation type is the opposite of what the original orientation was. (i.e: portrait -> landscape)
  4. Check the orientation state of the simulated device by going to the DevTools console and typing: window.screen.orientation

ER:
The orientation values remain unchanged despite the height/width values swapping.

AR:
Orientation values should have been updated to reflect the resized dimensions. For example, if resized from "portrait" to "landscape", then the new orientation state type should be "landscape-primary".

Work on Bug1357774 will be needed to fix this.
