Details
Marshalling code currently only handles code from Java to C++ and back; for example, at some points it assumes to C++ is "in", and to Java is "out". It should be straightforward to factor out these dependencies, so that the same functions can marshall in the other direction. This will reduce code duplication in C++ proxies.
