From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002052918 On loading the page http://www.amritapuri.org/media/newsreports.htm, the content gets embedded within a "frame" with its own two scrollbars. These are functional scrollbars since you can scroll up and down, left and right with them. The browser scrollbars work as well. Also clicking some links within this "frame" will not work. Once one of these links is clicked the window will scroll up to the top of the page and if you move the cursor it will change to a "top-left corner with a sheet of paper". (The links referred to are at the bottom of the page). When you click the mouse left button the sheet "falls away" and the cursor returns to the normal hyperlink indicator. This problem is reproducible everytime I get into the website. It does not happen with Netscape 4.79. The system used is Mandrake 8.2 (recently upgraded from 8.1). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch into the website http://www.amritapuri.org/media/newsreports.htm 2.Scroll down to the bottom and click a link "Teachings" 3.Move the cursor and then click it Actual Results: On loading the page will become embedded in a "frame with its own scrollbars". The window scrolled up on its own to the top of the document and the cursor changed to a "top-left corner with a sheet of paper". When the mouse left button was clicked it changed back to the a hyperlink indicator cursor. When I move the mouse it changed back to the normal arrow cursor. Expected Results: What do you think?
*** Bug 155076 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
this is caused by the body style containing overflow:scroll. marking dupe of "page move to top when right click on link" the scrollbars is actually correct behavior, but scrolling to the top is not. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 115505 ***
