+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #734716 +++

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2
Build ID: 20120215223356

Steps to reproduce:

Right click, Cut, on a Bookmark from Bookmarks menu.

Actual results:

Pasted it to another location on my hard drive, and it doesn't remove it from the original location (the bookmarks menu)

Expected results:

Once Cut, it should be removed from the original location (the bookmarks menu). It is behaving like a Copy command instead.

current problem Steps to reproduce:

When the above steps are performed under any filtering conditions, please refer to the gif image for details.

Context

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

This is actually expected, because we don't know where/how you dropped, we can't tell whether you executed a move or a copy, nor which flavor you pasted. So, as the source, we don't know what to do.
The current behavior prevents dataloss.
the original bug is also a wontfix.
