Expected results:

Afer exiting from FullScreen browser window should be the same as it was before entering in it.

Hi Anton,

I was unable to reproduce this using the following configuration:

  • Mac book Pro with Retina display and OSX 10.14 with an additional Samsung monitor
  • Windows 10 laptop, with an additional Samsung monitor,

On both OS using the latest Nightly 68.0a1 and Firefox Release 67.0 versions.

Could you please retest this on your end using Firefox Nightly and share your results with us? You can download it from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/.

Please test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:

Checked with
Firefox 66.0.5.dmg
Firefox 67.0b19.dmg (then updated to 67.0)
firefox-68.0a1.en-US.mac.dmg

The same situation in Firefox 66.0.5.dmg and 67 with my profile and in safe mode (issue is present).
In nightly build with fresh install no issue (also #1551170 is fixed).

So I confused. I'll check with the new profile.

Issue is still exist on the new test profile in 67.0 (64-bit) without any addons.
So only night build is working well. What should I do?

Hi Anton,

Based on the fact that this is working as expected on Nightly version 68, once Release version reaches version 68, the changes of Nightly version will be reflected and this issue should be solved.

Today FF has been updated to 68.0b3 (64-bit) and the issue is still exist. So can it can be that it will be fixed on Release?

When Release version reaches 68 version, the changes and fixes of Nightly 68 will be applied. This release is scheduled for 2019-07-09.

You can check the release calendar for Firefox versions here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar (please note that Central stands for Nightly version)
