From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 I am running into problems filling in forms. I just can not get the mouse to click into a form field. This seems to be intermitent, and can be fixed by closing Mozilla, and then restarting it. This happens about 75% of the time. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to a page with a form to fill in 2.Try to use the mouse to click into the form input fields. 3.The tab key does seem to work ok Actual Results: Nothing until I restart Mozilla
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
Reporter: Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ? If yes do this : uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla. If you still see the problem try "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an additional test profile.
Marking WFM, as there has not been a response from the original reporter. If this is still an issue for you using mozilla 1.1 or 1.2a, please re-open this bug and provide additional information if you can: when you click in the form field, does the blinking caret disappear? Can you type into the input field?
