155218 - Homepage overwrites url entered in "Open Location"-tab

If I open a new window, then press Cmd-L and start entering an URL, after a second or two my text gets deleted and overwritten by the URL to the current homepage. Chimera should open the tab with the URL already in it instead of putting it in later, after the tab is already open, and overwriting what the user has written there.

Reporter, are you experiencing the auto-complete behavior?  Could you describe
exactly what you typed in the location bar and what was deleted/overwritten?

No, it's not auto-completing.

I open a new window. I start typing "www.blah.com". after I've written "www.bla", Chimera inserts

http://home.netscape.com/apple.adp

which is my website, and instead of www.blah.com, I end up with

http://home.netscape.com/apple.adph.com

I can reproduce it almost every time. Try this:

www.blah.com

Do it quickly.

ah, we're filling in the homepage address as we load it in the window,
regardless of if the user has entered characters in the url bar already. I'd
suggest setting the homepage to nil if you run into this a lot. That said, it is
a bug.
