User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/74.0.3729.157 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Tried to uninstall Firefox. It wasn't present under "remove programs" Windows 10 feature. And it exhibited weird behavior.
Actual results:
To uninstall, I first looked under:
C:\Program Files\
There was no Mozilla folder.
I next traced the path on my desktop shortcut to:
C:\Users\bb\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox
And then deleted all the files.
I reinstalled 66.0.5 and it installed to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
Possibly related is that lastpass is uninstallable through the browser. It must be deleted from Remove Programs, which runs contrary to Mozilla's uninstall instructions.
Expected results:
Firefox should have been completely uninstalled, but wasn't. Its .exe file should seemingly have been located under C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox, but wasn't.
How do I completely uninstall Firefox?

Thanks for filing this bug. There's a lot in there though, and I'm having a hard time figuring out all the questions you're asking.
Is Firefox listed now in Apps & Features after you've reinstalled it? Having it just not appear there at all would certainly be a bug.
The AppData path that you found is the install path that we normally use when the installer doesn't get the administrator privileges needed to install into Program Files. That means either that the installer was run by a user who wasn't an administrator, or that it was run by an administrator but the UAC prompt was canceled. Installing into AppData is our fallback in those situations. It isn't a bug.
I'm not certain what you're saying about LastPass or what uninstall instructions you're talking about, but there are two ways to install LastPass: you can either install the extension directly in the browser, or you can run an installer they provide that installs extensions for every browser you have and also includes a standalone application. If the second method was used, then Apps & Features (or Add/Remove Programs) must be used to fully remove LastPass.

The priority flag is not set for this bug.
:mhowell, could you have a look please?
For more information, please visit auto_nag documentation.
That explains the alternate install path. I did not specifically run it as an admin.
Last Pass has been super buggy. I'm not sure whether it's FF or LP or both causing it's issues. I mentioned that it didn't seem to be removable as an add-on through the browser. I have installed it via their desktop-app and also via the Firefox Add-On's directory (via the add-on's search blank under options).
For the moment, everything seems to be running smoothly.
Thanks for checking in on this.

Okay. Thanks for reporting back. Since it sounds like everything's good now, I'm closing this bug; feel free to file another one if something comes up.
