Hello Mozilla friends,
Having now completed my PhD doing a deep dive on the BMO database from 1998 to 2012 (See Bug 795453), I'm in the process of updating the algorithms and it would be great to run them on an updated version of the database! We're hoping to set up an ongoing research program at the Ryerson Ted Rogers School of Management with my earlier research as the foundation.
Reading through the bug history (see Bug 597413, Bug 797570, Bug 838155, and Bug 867589), there was some discussion about setting up a permanent download location for sanitized versions of the database but it was later decided that mcote would handle them manually (and he did give me an updated version around 2015 after the new security rules were put in place and the new BMO schema was deployed).
How can I get the latest sanitized dump of the BMO database without burdening anyone too much? Bonus if we can set up a place that it is periodically updated for me and other researchers to be able to grab it in the future without bugging anyone, but that's not strictly required.

I apologize for the delay. What is the date associated with your current NDA?
Also, will the results of this research be publicly available or will they be published in a journal behind a paywall?

No worries. I'm still putting together the framework for the latest run of the research. Almost ready to slot in the updated data!
I believe the date associated with my last NDA was somewhere around 2016 when @mcote gave me the last dump. Do you need a specific date? I'm happy to sign a new one if the terms are the same.
The results of this research (and ALL my research!) will be published in some open access format (usually CC-BY 4.0+). I refuse to put any of my research behind paywalls on principle. Glad you guys understand how important open research is to the future of knowledge creation!
