Hi!
I tested this on the latest version of Beta 68.0b7 with the following devices:
- OnePlus 5T (Android 9);
- Nexus 6P (Android 8.1.0);
- Huawei P9 Lite (Android 6);
- Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1);
- Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 9);
- Sony Xperia Z5 Premium (Android 7.1.1);
and I can reproduce the issue only with Huawei P9 Lite (Android 6) and Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1).
Thanks!

Mike, I was able to reproduce the issue using Firefox Beta 68.0b9 build on the following devices:
- Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Android 8.0.0)
- Sony Xperia Z2 (Android 6.0.1) .
I did not reproduce it on the following device:
- LG G5 (Android 8.0.0)

Thanks Oana.
Tom, is there any way we can mitigate this? WDYT?
I see the same docShell.failedChannel error as I do when the addon has not yet loaded in bug 1543968. And
indeed, the system addon isn't running (since the testcases are red at webcompat-addon-testcases.schub.io).
Unfortunately I don't actually see any errors on the main process that imply that the addon isn't starting up properly, and I can't reproduce this on my own phone with the same beta version as a phone which reproduces the problem, so I'm afraid that I'm stuck for now.

Hi!
I tested this on the latest version of Beta 68.0b13 with OnePlus 5T (Android 9), Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 9) and is reproducible only with the build installed from archive (https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/candidates/68.0b13-candidates/build1/android-api-16/multi/), as mentioned in the Description.
It is not reproducible with the build from Play Store.
Thanks!
This only applied to Fennec, so we can close this.
