This has been agreed by Asa, and l10n - we just need to do it. It's not a trivial DB operation, so should probably be done when Bugzilla is "down" for maintenance, or something. I'm assigning this bug to Myk, so he can pick an appropriate moment to make the change. Gerv
Anyone have a list (or set of SQL queries) of all the places it needs to be changed?
It only needs changing in one place: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=Browser%20Localizations but bbaetz' point was that it's in several places in the DB, and so changing it is somewhat more risky than it would be if we used product IDs. Gerv
Yeah, and my 'make sure you have a backup' comment was just the standard thing. Note that this will LOCK most tables in the db while it happens - ie for as long as the UPDATE takes to run on all the affected rows. I'd be surprised if it took more than a few minutes, though, since there arne't that many localisation bugs.
