Clicking allow location blocks location anyway

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
I went to google maps and attempted to view my current location
Actual results:
A dialog prompt asking me if I'd like to reveal my location to the site or hide it appeared, and after clicking the "remember this decision tab" and then clicking allow, my location was not provided to the site.
Expected results:
My location should have been provided, as I desired.
Also it seems difficult to confirm that this is the proper place to provide feedback. I'm running the newest update of firefox nightly. Is this the right place for nightly feedback? https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ is where i'm redirected to from within the "help" -> "submit feedback" menu. That didn't seem very resourceful though.

Thanks for reporting this problem! It looks like you're using Firefox on macOS. Please verify that Firefox has permission to use macOS Location Services. Go to macOS's System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Location Services and look for Firefox and a checked checkbox in the list of applications.
Here are instructions with screenshots: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204690
Fixed, thank you, my apologies :(
Maybe a feature request could be to detect if location services aren't provided by the OS? To prompt settings like other applications do?
Thanks
