will not let me NOT have a black dot on both options allow firefox updates. I do not want to be informed and i do not want them installed nor checked.

Steps to reproduce:
tried to uncheck both dots.
Actual results:
cannot uncheck both dots - firefox makes it impossible.
Expected results:
Under Allow firefox to;
Automatically install updates. I do not want so i uncheck it. but then it automatically
puts a dot under
Check for updates but let you choose to install them AND I don't want that either but firefox won't let me uncheck it unless the above when is checked . I don't want either of these! but that is impossible to do!

Please don't intentionally file duplicates. You already submitted this as bug 1554106.
If you have administrator access in your operating system, see bug 1420514, comment 137 for directions to disable checking for updates.
