it doesn't init xpcom, its call to NS_OpenURI doesn't match params, assuming you change the in val from nsIChannel to nsIInputStream, the later callers fail because they expect an nsIChannel. Does someone want me to fix this, or should we cvs remove it?
no, i would like to keep this file in the tree. it will be good to have when we or if we ever make necko thread safe.
