As reported on webcompat.com, attempts to download a PDF from strafrecht-online.org (such as the link to Sachverhalt) results in the wrong file being downloaded by Fenix/Reference Browser.

Even though the network devtools panel shows that the correct binary PDF content is being fetched, but the "PDF" that is actually downloaded appears to be the internal PDF.js viewer's HTML document.

Is this bug reproducible in Fennec?

This sounds similar to .epub download bug 1544955, though that bug was caused by Fenix's download request not including the user's login cookies.

This works for me in Firefox for Android. Downloading and viewing the file works.

Thomas, can you still reproduce this problem? With the pdf.js integration, this probably is no longer happening.

Yes, I think this is fixed. The original link is gone, but after browsing for a minute on their site I found another PDF which does open in the viewer.
