User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

Steps to reproduce:

zooming in on loaded web pages

Actual results:

bad page rendering

Expected results:

there should be two manual and independent zoom options, and web site dependent, one for the page size and the other for the font size. This is because most web pages today have too tiny fonts while the page takes the screen width. Zooming in would be only required for font in this case, while there are pages that would require both.

Page zoom level is already remembered per-site, so this is a duplicate of bug 433489.

Summary: zoom options page fonts → Remember text zoom level per-site

My report is not a duplicate of this bug. My aim is to get two parallel zoom options. Currently there is only one zoom option from the main interface. An option from the "View" menu allows it to be toggled between "text only" and "whole page". My request is to make the two types of zoom available directly from the main interface either by adding one more shortcut or/with adding a second bubble in the address bar. To make things alike, i added that the second one too should be site dependent.

Bug 433489 is for remembering text-only zoom per-site
Bug 645661 is for a text-only zoom keyboard shortcut
The address bar zoom level indicator only shows the current zoom level, and resets it when clicked.

The only place where a text-only zoom option would fit is the main menu and the Zoom Controls button from the customization palette.

Well, this sounds like your personal opinion. There are plenty of document viewers which GUI is fitted with font adjustment options. And what about my other suggestion which is adding one more shortcut, I meant keyboard shortcut. Currently [ "Ctrl" + "+" ] and [ "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "+" ] both zoom in. What about changing the later for zooming in text only? and do a similar change for zooming out?
Also it should be noted that the "Zoom text only" option doesn't seem to keep the whole page zoom as it was set. It seems that if the page is zoomed to 150%, enabling "Zoom text only" resets the page zoom to 100% and set the text zoom to 150% instead. For most web pages it's really a mix of the two that are needed to fit the screen and reading comfort.
