What you're seeing is an intentional result of the bug 1553163 patch. In that bug we started disabling the background image (which includes the logo) when a high contrast theme is on, both as a workaround for the glitch that bug 1553163 was reporting, and also because background images in high contrast mode are a bad idea in general (since they reduce the contrast).
The ideal solution would be break up the background image to separate out the logo so we could continue displaying it, but that's going to be more trouble than it's worth I think.

Maybe leaving a text under the logo with the description of its respective channel seeing as how text is still displayed in High Contrast with no issues. This way, the user with accessibility issues would still know what channel he is currently installing and we would work around the separating the background image and the logo that would cause a lot of trouble.

Well, we have that text set as the title of the window, so it is on the screen in a readable location already. I don't know if having it in the corner of the window in addition to that would make much difference.
