1555369 - Open-ECard-App doesn't work correctly with new Firefox-version

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0

Steps to reproduce:

With my german passport I want to legitimate me at the web-site of my german pension-insurance. I use the "Open ECard App 1.3.0" for this purpose.

With former Firefox versions this works very well.

I tried Microsoft Edge: works well too.

Actual results:

With 64bit Firefox version 67.0 the legitimation process dont work.

I get an error "Das TCToken konnte nicht empfangen werden" which means "The tocen could not received".

Expected results:

The legitimation process should work.

Hi JurgenWS, We are unable to reproduce this issue because we do not have the proper environment set up for it, we do not have any card readers and we cannot properly test this issue, but maybe you can provide a bit more info.

Can you please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem and see if the issue still occurs there as well?

You can also try turning Content Blocking off and retest this issue, from the Site information panel on the left of the URL bar > click the Turn off Blocking for this Site and see if the issue goes away.
