Since bug 1510280 landed, classifying many failures at once is very sluggish. The notifications are shown for a very long time, on production I also saw bug 1554007 during that action.
Firefox's profiler shows there are long DOM events and a Promise callback chain.

The browser doesn't hang anymore like when this bug got filed. Classifying many failures at once still can take some time and block the person from interacting with Treeherder until the notifications are gone: ~210 tasks took 26s wall time to show and hide all notifications.
